I knew Dan, I met him in… I believe it was 2nd grade at Highland Park. I knew him all through middle and high school. I went to see him rock at the Trocadero (?) I gave blood to him at UDHS. He was a good friend of mine. I only recently learned about his death, I was shocked. It cut deep, I had always hoped that he’d gotten better and went on to live his life. I was deeply sorry to learn that, unfortunately; that was not the case. He may be gone but he will always be remembered. Rest In Peace, Nitz.
